Avolites - Titan
Control of Avolites Titan lighting consoles using the Titan WebAPI (HTTP).
Avolites Titan is a lighting control platform designed for live events, touring and installations.
The Titan WebAPI uses a seperate programmer, to the user of the console. Consiquently, it can't be used to select pallets on the console etc. as a programming aid. The same is true for running macros.
i.e. If you have a macro that locks the console, you wont see the effect as because the console only gets locked for the WebAPI user but not all other users.
Note: To use this module, you must:
- Be running Titan v10.0 or higher.
- Enable HTTP remote on Avolites Titan.
- Create a patch in Ctrl Suite referencing your Avolites consoles IP, using Port 4430 for communication with Titan.

Getting started
Load up the demo show built into Avolites Titan:
- Press
[Disk](silver key near the onscreen keypad) - In the softkey menu on the right hand side choose Load Show
- Navigate to the demo show using the softkey menu and choose Load.
If the file isn’t there within Titan, restart the software. Sometimes it fails to copy in the first time on fresh installations. The show will load up with a playback running to kill it double tap the Release key near the on-screen keypad.
Open up the Capture Visualliser window within Titan, here you will be able to see the output from the show file. There is also a workspace for the Capture window if you look on the left hand side of the UI. As you fire playbacks through the API you should see them highlight on the screen. The onscreen faders will not move despite commands being sent into the software.
A playback's User Number can be seen in the top left corner of the playback. If you wish to change that number you can use the Set Legend softkey menu.
Troubleshooting
- Ensure HTTP remote control is enabled within Avolites Titan.
- Ensure your Ctrl Suite patch is referencing your Avolites console's IP address and is targeting Port 4430 for communication.
