Tab Bar (v2)

Tab Bars provide a simple and familiar method of navigation between interfaces.

To customise a Tab Bar component, navigate to the Style tab.

Style

Define the:

  • Persistence of the component between specific interfaces
  • Colour Theme
  • Show / Hide Border
  • Edge Style

Settings

Navigate to the Settings Gear icon to begin Configuring the Tab Bar.

Layout

Use the + icon to select interfaces to be referenced by the Tab Bar.

Auto Scale

When enabled all tabs will resize to span the full width of the Tab Bar, each tab will have an identical size. When disabled each tab will reference the Tab Size option.

Tab Size

Select a fixed tab size when Auto scale is disabled. (Auto Scale should be disabled for this option to take effect).

To deploy a Tab Bar across multiple interfaces in a way that allows modifications to be applied to all interfaces at once; do the following:

  • Create a new interface named Template at the same resolution as your other interfaces.
  • Open the interface and add a new Tab Bar (v2) component.
  • Select the Tab Bar.
  • Under the Style options on the right-hand side of the UI, use the Include on Interface dropdown to select multiple interfaces to display the Tab Bar on.

Note: deleting an interface, or deleting the Tab Bar component will remove it from all other interfaces. - To remove a UI component from a single interface, deselect the interface name within the Include on Interface option.

Interact with this component's appearance remotely with timers, external protocols or other remote logic, lock it out, change the size, position appearance and more by creating a Process adding relevant Interface blocks in combination with Render Components.
